Player controls and views
Mini vs full player, speed, scrubbing, bookmarks, and everything else in the full-screen player.
You’ll bounce between the mini player and the full-screen player depending on what you’re doing. Both keep the basics within thumb reach.
Mini player
The mini player sits at the bottom of the screen while you browse. It shows the current episode title, artwork, and basic play/pause. Tap anywhere on it to expand into the full player.
Full-screen player
Open the full player by tapping the mini player, or directly from any episode. Here’s what you’ll find:
- Play/pause — the large central button
- Seek buttons — skip forward or backward (default 30 seconds each, adjustable in Settings)
- Progress bar — drag to scrub to any point in the episode
- Speed control — tap to open the speed picker (0.5×–2×)
- Sleep timer — set a countdown or choose “End of episode” (Premium)
- Bookmark — saves a bookmark at the current timestamp; tap to add an optional note
- Up Next preview — when Auto-Continue is on, the predicted next episode is shown at the bottom of the player
