Customizing playback settings
Adjust seek intervals, auto-continue, player display, notifications, and cloud sync to match how you listen.
Settings let you tune PolyPod to match your listening style.

Playback
Seek forward/backward intervals
The seek buttons can skip anywhere from 5 to 120 seconds (adjustable in 5-second steps). Both forward and backward are set independently, and both default to 30 seconds.
Auto-continue next episode
When enabled, PolyPod automatically picks the next episode when your queue finishes. When disabled, playback stops and you choose what’s next.
See How auto-continue chooses the next episode for the full logic.
Skip started episodes
Only shown when Auto-Continue is on. When enabled, episodes you’ve already started are skipped in the auto-continue chain — so only fresh episodes are picked automatically.
Show time remaining
Flips the episode duration display from total length to time remaining (e.g. -12:34 instead of 45:00). Handy if you’d rather know how long is left than how long something is.
Artwork player background
When on, the full-screen player’s background gradient is derived from the episode artwork colours instead of the default brand gradient.
Cloud sync (Premium)
Enable cloud sync to keep your listening history, progress, and preferences in sync across all your devices. Requires an active Premium subscription.
Daily goal reminders
Toggle notifications to remind you about your daily listening goal, and choose what time they fire. A Streak Saver notification can also be enabled — it sends a nudge at 9:00 PM if you haven’t hit your goal yet.
