Add a podcast by RSS feed (Premium)
Import any podcast with a public RSS URL so it shows up in your library and your time counts toward your goals.
If you know a podcast’s RSS feed URL, you can add it to PolyPod directly — even if it’s not in the podcast catalog. This is a Premium feature.
How to add an RSS feed
- Go to your Library
- Tap + in the header → Add RSS
- Paste or type the RSS feed URL
- PolyPod fetches a preview showing the podcast title, artwork, and description
- Select which language to tag the podcast with
- Tap confirm
The podcast then appears in your Library just like any other followed show.
A few things to know
- The RSS URL must be publicly accessible — private or paywalled feeds won’t load
- Once imported, episodes work the same as any other podcast: you can download them, queue them, and track your listening time
- Tagging the podcast with the right language is important — that’s what makes your listening count toward the correct language goal
