Streaks and celebrations
How daily streaks work, what resets them, and the confetti moments PolyPod celebrates.
Your streak counts how many consecutive days you’ve hit your daily listening goal. It increments once per day, resets at midnight if you miss your goal, and is tracked per language.
Reading your streak
The streak widget on the Progress tab shows your current streak and your all-time longest. The flame icon’s colour shifts as your streak grows — a gentle visual nudge to keep going.
Today’s progress ring on the streak widget shows how close you are to keeping it alive for another day.
When streaks reset
Missing your daily goal by midnight resets your current streak to zero. Your longest streak is never overwritten — it stays on record permanently.
Confetti celebrations
PolyPod triggers confetti when you:
- Hit your daily goal for the first time each day
- Reach a streak milestone
- Follow your first podcast (during onboarding)
Celebrations only fire once per event per day, so they stay meaningful.
See your streak history
The Calendar widget on the Progress tab gives a visual history of which days you listened. Tap any highlighted day to see what you played.
