App crashes and freezing
Diagnose and fix app crashes, freezing, and stability issues to ensure smooth language learning.
Most crashes are caused by low device storage, an outdated app version, or a temporary system issue. The steps below fix the majority of cases.
Immediate Solutions

Force Close and Restart Double-tap the home button to force close PolyPod, then reopen it.

Restart Your Device A full device restart clears memory and resolves many temporary system issues.

Check Available Storage Ensure your device has at least 1GB of free storage. Delete unused apps or files if needed.

Update the App Check the App Store for PolyPod updates and install any available versions.
Advanced Troubleshooting

Clear App Cache Go to device Settings > General > iPhone Storage > PolyPod > Offload App, then reinstall.

Check Background App Refresh Ensure PolyPod is allowed to refresh in the background: Settings > General > Background App Refresh.

Disable Other Audio Apps Close other music or podcast apps that might conflict with PolyPod’s audio system.

Reinstall the App As a last resort, delete and reinstall PolyPod. Make sure your data is synced to the cloud first.
