PolyPod uses Sign in with Apple for secure, private authentication. Your account enables cloud sync (Premium), backup of progress data, and seamless access across devices.
Creating Your Account
Section titled “Creating Your Account”-
Download PolyPod Install PolyPod from the App Store (iOS 14.0 or later required).

Launch the app Open PolyPod for the first time. You’ll be prompted to sign in.

Sign in with Apple Tap the “Sign in with Apple” button. This uses your Apple ID for secure authentication.
- You can choose to share or hide your email address
- Your Apple ID credentials are never shared with PolyPod
- Two-factor authentication is handled by Apple

Choose your setup After signing in, you’ll see two options:
- Start Fresh — Recommended for new users. Set up languages and goals from scratch.
- Restore from Cloud — For returning users with Premium. Sync your previous data from another device.
Managing Your Profile
Section titled “Managing Your Profile”-
Access Your Profile Tap the profile icon (person) in the top-right corner of any screen’s gradient header.

View Account Information Your profile displays:
- Your email address (or hidden email if you chose that option)
- Member since date
- Gradient avatar icon

Profile Options From your profile, access:
- Languages — Manage target languages and daily goals
- Settings — App preferences, cloud sync, notifications
- Help & Support — Access help documentation
- About — App version and information
- Privacy Policy — Review our privacy practices

Sign Out At the bottom of your profile, tap “Sign Out” to securely log out. You’ll be asked to confirm before signing out.

With Premium Subscription

- Restore from Cloud — Move to a new device and restore everything

- Advanced features — Downloads, sleep timer, unlimited history
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting””Apple Sign In not available”
Section titled “”Apple Sign In not available””Sign in with Apple requires a physical iOS device with iOS 13.0 or later. It’s not available in simulators.
”No Internet Connection”
Section titled “”No Internet Connection””Sign in requires an active internet connection. Connect to WiFi or cellular data, then try again. Once signed in, most features work offline.
Switching Devices
Section titled “Switching Devices”If you have Premium with cloud sync enabled:
- Sign in on your new device
- Choose “Restore from Cloud”
- Your languages, goals, and history will sync automatically
Revoking Access
Section titled “Revoking Access”To revoke PolyPod’s access to your Apple ID:
- Go to Settings → Apple ID → Password & Security → Apps Using Apple ID
- Find PolyPod and tap “Stop Using Apple ID”
Account Deletion
Section titled “Account Deletion”To delete your account and all associated data:
- Contact support@polypod.app with your request
- Include your email address (or hidden email)
- We’ll confirm the deletion and permanently remove your data within 7 days
Privacy & Security
Section titled “Privacy & Security”- PolyPod uses Apple’s secure authentication system
- We only store the data you create in the app (languages, goals, listening sessions)
- Your password is never stored by PolyPod — it’s managed by Apple
- Cloud sync data (Premium) is stored securely in Supabase with encryption
- You can revoke access anytime through your Apple ID settings
